比叡山鉄道坂本ケーブル

Sakamoto cable car is famous for the long distance from mountain-foot Sakamoto station to mountain-top Enryakuji station. Please refer other website. The map shows a car parking near Sakamoto station. It takes 15 minutes on foot from here to the cable station.

岡山県にはケーブルカーが無いのが日頃から残念でした。ケーブルカー好きとはいえども日本最長と誉れの高い坂本ケーブルカーに一度も乗った事が無いのではお話にならないと思っていました。
ただ、山下駅の坂本ケーブル駅の近くに駐車場がありません。実際に出かけてみると、ちょっと離れた場所に観光駐車場がありました。駐車場からケーブル坂本駅まで徒歩で15分程度です。
